Wetland Birds of North America by Scott Leslie was published by Key Porter Books and released in March 2006. Scott’s vivid and colourful photographs of over 70 species of wetland birds are featured along with species accounts which include appearance, calls, food, family life, conservation concerns and much more. Range maps are also provided for each species. The book also includes chapters on wetland ecology and diversity, making it a wonderful reference for birders and naturalists alike. This is the first in what is to be a series of guides, the second in the series, Woodland Birds, is currently being worked on and will be released in spring of 2007.
